Hi, i’m Jon Lew, and I’ve been in the real estate industry for the past 15 years and counting. Before joining the real estate industry, I was from the financial world coming from a background of a double major in Economics and Business Finance, graduating from the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia, as well as working and living there for several years.
I moved back to Singapore for family reasons, with the company I was with from Sydney, but decided to move into real estate because I wanted something more rewarding and much more challenging, with as much flexibility that I could get. After much pondering, I decided to take the plunge into the real estate industry with non prior sales knowledge or real estate background.
In the blink of an eye, it's been more then a decade that's passed and there has never been a moment of doubt where I would have considered joining another industry or career path. Real Estate has been nont only rewarding but also very challenging. I’ve loved every single second of it to date.
The Rookie
If you fall under The Rookie profile, it would mean that you would have only joined the real estate industry for probably over 1-2 years. You might have decided that you’re still young, wanted to take the risk, or was just simply looking for a dynamic shift and change of environment/industry. You might have decided that its now the time for you to be your own boss and take the reigns of your career into your own hands.
The challenge you face as a rookie, would be for yourself to decide what course of marketing best suites you. You would not be in the industry long enough to know that marketing costs and campaigns can cost up to six figures, and even if you were, might not have the resources to tap into what is currently available in the market, nnor would you feel comfortable taking such a plunge when the cost outweights what benefits you might place on the scale to balance the commitment required.
As such, you will be selecting the Zero to Hero blueprint where cost are kept minimum, but efforts are maximised to get the fullest rewards for the time and effort you put in.
The Swtch
If you fall under The Switch profile, it would mean that you would be maybe in your early 30s-40s and you’ve decided that you want a change of environment. After all these time spent as an employee, your entrepurnere nature has taken over and you’ve decided to follow your heart and take the plunge as you do not want to live in regret.
You’re also prolific enough to know what you want and how you can probably achieve what it is that you seek, based on your personality and character, but just need a solid blueprint to guide you through and build a routine around what will become your business model. You have what it takes to go in when it comes to marketing costs, but also want to see results for the resources you put into this new business venture.
Tapping onto your current network and building a brand for yourself would be detrimental around your current mode of business that I will develop your blueprint around to ensure the quickest success for any efforts expanded.
The Pro
If you fall under The Pro profile, it would mean that you have already been in the real estate industry for some good number of years. You know how things work, and you know the rationality behind the logic of how things function, but you’re looking for that breakthrough and fundamentally want to continually setting new benchmarks for yourself, breaking previous years records and constantly striving for better results.
You might also already have your own personal business model but you’re looking at how little tweaks can result in significantly greater results and achievements. Your blueprint to greater success lies in simply unlocking how to free up more time than the 24 hours you already have and to find a method and routine to ideally build your current network to work for you with minimal efforts.
It is also fundamentally important for your to revisit a new focus on building, forming and growing a team to tap onto the resources that others could provide to build the passive side of your business.
The Guru
If you fall under The Guru profile, you would be someone who have already achieve all that you’ve initially set out for yourself. Your goals and your targets have all already been checked bbut you’re asking yourself that nagging question of “What's next for yourself?” What is it for you and how the next probable decade would be for you and what it really is deep down that you’re seeking to discover and build?
If you’re at this stage in your career, and have already been there, seen all and done that, then there is only one fundamental providence that you’re seeking that can scratch your burning desire, and that's a leadership role. You’re at that stage where its all about building your empire and legacy now but where should you start, how should you start, and where would you end up? These too, require a solid blueprint that would clarify your direction and provide you with the shortest path towards you next level of achievement.
Structure
If you fail to plan, then you’re already planning to fail. As simplistic as this idiom is, many of us have already acknowledge the importance behind the very essence and meaning behind the significance of planning. Yet many of us are not aligned or willing to take the risk concerned with creating the changes which we seek daily and continually.
